March 14-15, 2009!
Von Mitternadt Rottweilers took another road trip this time to Jacksonville, NC for the East Carolina Rottweiler Klub
Winter Seiger Show. It would be the first time in the ring for 3 out of 5 rotties who rode beautifully all the way from IL...
We were anticiapating beautiful NC weather but instead got lots of rain/drizzle and 50 something degrees. We were
grateful that our judge Catherine Thompson (USA) braved the elements.
First in the ring was Draven, out of Norris X Heli. At 8 months old he seemed like a natural! Jay was nervious and let Teri
take him in to the ring. Teri and Draven got VP2!! It was so exciting.
Teri feeling like she had just won the the entire show, she successfully talked me into letting her take my beautiful baby
girl (Onna) into the ring. 8 months is really young age to have the attention span that these dogs have. We busted out the
treasured feather toy and that lil girl held her breath & stretched out until Mrs. Thompson gave her VP1... WAHOO!!
Then it was Kenya's turn.... 18-24 bitches.. here comes Teri and Kenya. At this point, she's not even asking me... Of course
Teri is taking Kenya into the ring. Teri was having to much fun! Other then the wrestling match to show her teeth to the
judge, Kenya made her momma proud & walked away with an SG4, Way to go Kenya...
Man Teri and I were on cloud 9 and tired... That's alot of action for the momma of the most laid back rottweiler (Diesel). We
got ourselves some grub and headed back to the hotel for some much needed rest.
Next day it was Teri's Diesel dog first in Open males. Teri stated she acted like a fool baiting that beast yelling "puppy,
puppy, puppy" but she got the "V" rating that she has been dreaming about! Teri thanked me for holding onto Diesel as
she hid behind some super nice ladies. Then she knew that her cheek muscles would never relax.... that smile was
permanent, Her and Diesel dog took V3 out of the open class.... WAHOO!!
The dogs in all of these classes were amazing. What an honor to place up there with all 4 dogs that we had shown so far!!
Okay Miss Heli.... we are not leaving Open females without a placement. Nevermind this is her first time in the ring here
in the U.S. Yes, we all know that you havent totally gotten you figure back yet, but.... That girl can MOVE!!! Yes, Teri almost
broke her neck when Heli wanted the ball at the side of the ring and Teri tripped over her but Teri recovered.. Heli was
on a mission.... so fast but effortlessly. Anyway, Mrs. Thompson gave that little speedster a V2 (2nd to Kimmy Cardona's
beautiful serbian import, Fara who also was the seigerin for this show) What a weekend for the rotties from IL...
Fantastic dogs in all the classes! Friendly owners and handlers. Congrats to ALL the winners that weekend. Got to see
some amazing rotties Olga Grin's male named Filou, Randy Reisinger's male Ramzes... The softess pup in the world took
best puppy, Sydney... It was really great to see Kimmy Cardona from Vom Drakkenfels, Quinn Webb, Sue Lynch from
Ketelhaus Rottweilers. Anyway it was a really good weekend and hope to see everybody in TN and the KY show in the
fall...

handling Norris we did very well. Norris took V2!! I walked away being on cloud nine, and it was a personal

Von Mitternadt Rottweilers is very pleased to announce the arrival of their first litter. The breeding between Ch.
Thundervly's Legend Von Mitternadt and Multi V Heli.
It was June 24 about 1 o'clock in the morning and Heli started her contractions. By 2:05 she had whelped her first puppy.
It was a girl and that started it all. By 7 o'clock in the morning Heli had finished whelping. Everybody was healthy and
doing very well. A very tired mom and two very tired, yet very excited people were happy. Heli had done a WONDERFUL
job. She had giving me 6 beautiful little girls and 3 very handsome boys....
For the next few weeks it was such a wonder to see the puppies grow, and they grew like little weeds...Watching them
opening there eyes, watching them crawl. Then them starting to walk, it was just amazing.
I had wonderful help, and i owe Teena (owner of Nova) the credit for the care and the education on how to welp a litter.
She has done many litters in the past but this was her first litter of rottweiler puppies and it was just my first litter. It was
the best experience!!! THANK YOU Teena....
Then the time came for my little ones to go home, a sad but exciting day. I had a great time visiting and talking to my new
puppy owners. They are all good homes and love their new babies very much. To this date all are doing great!!
